CIPD PRESENTS: Systemic Thinking – How it can Help Solve People Management Problems

ABOUT THE EVENT

Organisations operate in a complex world interlaced with many unpredictable influences. To develop effective strategies for performance requires organisations to analyse the dependencies of multiple factors – such as the work, people, structure and culture (Nadler and Tushman, 1980). We will discuss the public reform of the Arts Council and reflect together on the topic of people strategies; this is an opportunity to experience peer group learning and the summary will provide three key points, taking into consideration the models we examine.

Guest Speaker’s Profile: Damian Culhane

Damian has 18 years strategic learning and development experience at a senior level and is a subject matter expert on Coaching Culture. He has directed over 35 leadership development programmes aligned to organisational leadership frameworks and has worked in L&D roles for large organisations such as: Tesco, Wembley National Stadium, Novartis, Kuehne & Nagel, DHL, Big Lottery Fund, ADM and The Coaching Academy.
