About the event

This networking workshop is designed to provide students with essential networking skills and strategies to enhance their professional development. In this workshop participants will learn the art of building meaningful connections, both in-person and online, to expand their professional network.

Through interactive activities and role-playing scenarios, students will practice effective communication techniques, including introducing themselves confidently, engaging in meaningful conversations, and exchanging contact information. They will also learn the importance of active listening and understanding the needs of others in networking situations.

The workshop will also cover topics such as creating and maintaining a professional online presence, leveraging social media platforms for networking purposes, and utilising networking events and conferences to make valuable connections.

Students are eligible for a digital badge upon attending this session.
